Abid Azam is a Doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at York University, specializing in health psychology and mindfulness and acceptance-based interventions for chronic pain. He has collaborated with another student to conduct a randomized-controlled experiment for a mobile mindfulness app that aims to improve psychological outcomes such as mood, distress, and present awareness.
