Danielle Ruskin
Clinical and Health Psychologist, Hospital for Sick Children

Dr. Danielle Ruskin is a Clinical and Health Psychologist who has worked in the Chronic Pain Clinic at The Hospital for Sick Children for the past 10 years.  Dr. Ruskin completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Rhode Island and is an adjunct member of the Department of Psychology at York University.  Dr. Ruskin provides consultation, assessment and treatment to children with complex chronic pain conditions. She is a project investigator with the Sick Kids Research Institute and has an active research program looking at the effectiveness of mindfulness and acceptance approaches for children with health conditions such as chronic pain and inflammatory bowel disease.  Dr Ruskin is also appointed to the advisory board for Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Paediatric Pain Network.
