Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw

Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw, has developed and applied healing through mindfulness practices for 30 years. She is co-author of 16 Guidelines for Life and on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom, UK (Patron: H.H. Dalai Lama). Founder of Transformative Mindfulness International, she developed Transformative Mindfulness Methods with trained facilitators in 15 countries and several languages including medical professionals in a Masters Program at the University of Florence, Italy. She is a former co-director, faculty and is presently advisor for AMM-MIND program at U of T, and founder of the Centre for Compassion and Wisdom (Burlington, ON). Trained as a group facilitator at Findhorn Foundation (Scotland) then as a Tibetan Buddhist nun for 6 years. She has spent her lifetime bridging complementary and traditional medicine and Buddhist practices with western healing and spirituality.
