Jill Cressy
Assistant Manager, Fitness & Instruction, Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education, University of Toronto

 

Jill Cressy (BPHE, MEd) is the Assistant Manager of Fitness & Instruction at the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education, University of Toronto. She oversees fitness and sport programs across the Faculty’s facilities (www.kpe.utoronto.ca/sports-and-rec). In addition, Jill supports the U of T Mindful Moments partnership, a collaborative program offering mindfulness meditation classes that increase relaxation, resilience, and focus (https://www.studentlife.utoronto.ca/hwc/mindful-moments). Jill has published articles on physical activity and health, presented workshops for a variety of organizations, and received Excellence through Innovation awards for various wellness initiatives within the campus community. She has completed a variety of fitness certifications as well as yoga (RYT 200), and the University of Toronto Mentoring Learning Partnership program. Jill has a certificate in Foundations of Applied Mindfulness Meditation through the U of T School of Continuing Studies.
