Julie Berentsen

Julie has been practicing mindfulness for over 10 years, and has a passionate interest in how it might support young people. She is an experienced UK based primary school teacher and has a qualification with Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), a not-for-profit organization offering mindfulness training to young people from 7–18 years of age.

In addition to this, she also has an MA in education, with her dissertation focusing on mindfulness in children.

Over the years Julie has studied with many experts in these fields and has taken part in mindfulness trainings with Plum Village (Thich Nhat Hanh). She has also spoken on her experiences and research at various conferences and retreats.
Last year, she featured on the BBC News as part of a research project into mindfulness in secondary schools.
