Leena Anand


Leena Anand is a first-year doctoral student at McGill University, where she is studying Counselling Psychology. She is an active member of the McGill Mindfulness Research Lab. Leena is passionate about various mindfulness-based research endeavors, including: the interpersonal outcomes of mindfulness, particularly in the context of parenting and romantic relationships; mindfulness interventions in food-restrictive eating disorders; and, the psychological effects of mindful colouring in non-clinical and clinical samples. Leena has worked in an outpatient mental health clinic in Canada and in a hospital setting in the United States. She is engaged in the application of mindfulness both personally and professionally.
